Dr. Harold Allen. It was known as the Keweenaw rocket launch site.
Used between 1964 and 1971 primarily for meteorological data
collection. In 1965, it was used for project WEBROC.
"Liquid Arrowhead" was taken a couple hundred feet to the north.
