I have read that focus shift is common on fast 50's. The Zeiss 50/1.4
is noted for this but usually only an issue at medium wide apertures
with close focusing distances. Suspect depth of focus would obviate
most issues at smaller apertures or focusing at any distance.
I recall walking around with the Z. 50/2 macro that is quite nice at
non-,macro distances. Wonder where that lens fits in with the
other Z. 50 analysis?
