Hi John,

Thanks for the kind words.  I don't think it is the fault of the converter. 
I was trying it for the first time, with poor light, and ended up with a 
1/20 sec. exposure.  Even on a tripod, this is not good with the equivalent 
of a 500mm lens.  Salvaging the shot using post-processing contributed to 
the problem.

A shot of a stationary object (auto license plate) shows that the 
lens/converter combo is fairly sharp.  I am told by an expert that even the 
latest Leica APO extender causes a little loss in sharpness.  I hope to do 
better.
