On a 10MP 4/3 sensor diffraction will already be starting to creep in at 
an indicated f/8.  But the 2X converter will add 2 stops to your 
indicated aperture.  Shooting at indicated f/4 you're at an effective 
f/8.  My guess is that your best results will be between indicated f/4 
and f/8. (f/8 and f/16 effective).
