I like the shot, just think the flash created shadow could be muted.
Any way bounce the flash or diffuse the flash would help. The other
would be to dial back the fill flash and use more ambient light, which
is tricky with closeup shots. I've used detached flash located further
away from the subject to mute the flash. Sometimes with close up
the flash minimum exceeds what is needed for fill flash, hence
dominates the exposure.
