As the Kodachrome scanning talk is so hot, I just made a test shot on a K64.
Output from DPP, no color adjustment, contrast -3, shadow +3, resize in PS.

A previous scan from Nikon 4000ED with Nikonscan, no post adjustment.

If you ask me which look closer to the original, I would say the one copy
with 5D II. The 4000ED scan looks a little cooler.
