Regarding the Xpro-1

There are two lenses I would probably be interested in in that list the
14mm which should come soon and then the possible 10-24 superwide,
however as you say you need to be a quirk to want one and my quirk is to
simplify so I am not looking to buy a lot of lenses, been there wasted
loads of money done that good and dead, IS is not so much an issue with
clean high iso and for my subjects motion blur is the issue not shake.

the other point are valid but with regard to slow AF I haven't really
noticed it and MF has I thought been ok but rarely used but I have the
latest firmware. As for long term support who really cares, I paid more
for my canyon 5D2 body than I have spent on Fuji and wasted a whole lot
more on 4/3rd lenses that I will no longer use and now I will probably
not use the OM lenses so much, I have invested so little money in Fuji
glass compared the other systems, eventually we all will move on though,
The OM-D is peanuts compared to a pro DSLR and lenses and will give more
fun and almost equal or better the image quality.

I will say that though that because of the quirks (read challenge) folks
will stay with the Xpro-1 longer than OMD users who will upgrade to a
newer body because the bond is not the same - can't really explain why
though. Its like modern cars, everybody will still tinker with the
classics but who cares about the daily driver packed full of electronics
there is just not the same bond

In other words I like my quirky little camera though as stated often
before it won't suit all.

IanW who is quirky
