Nice set, and the gear fared well in a place where high contrast requires a
superior dynamic range - I had had to struggle with the L1 in order to keep the
luminous skies within tolerable limits, and found the shadows blocked as a
result; not here, good on you

This was my first time to visit Edinburgh and there is a very beautiful
city. I do like such classic style city very much with a lot of old
buildings, most of 3-level floors. There was many shows in the street of town
centre since Edinburgh Festival when I was visiting there. Before the
visit, I'd choose Bath to live if I can move to UK (of course dreaming) but
I have changed my idea, Edinburgh is a good choice too.

Pictures were taken with Olympus E-M5 with MZD12-50, Pana7-14 & Pana 45-175X

My experience of Olympus E-M5, very good camera for traveling, compact &
lightly. Very good performance in ISO1600, not notable grains. Focus is
very fast but shuttle lag is notable compare with DSLR (I was user of N*kon
D5000), understood the working flow of mirrorless camera, acceptable. Same
focus length of lenses of DSLR will be much bigger & heavier, much
appreciated that the lenses of M4/3.

The 3rd day of my trip was going to next destination, York. Share the
photos with you later.

Regards,
Michael
