Thanks all for the positive remarks!

The pictures have had the regular LR treatment. As for the pictures of the
steamengines, there was heavy contrast between the windows and the dark
machines. We were not free to take a better position regarding the light.
So the highlights and shadow slider did get a lot of use.

But one of the benefits of the e-m5 is actually that you *can* use those
sliders without it getting artificial very quick. Probably like Nikon,
Pentax, Sony and Canon users have experienced since a couple of years ;-).

Some additional information from the wiki: In 1967, after running on coal
for 47 years, the boilers were converted to run on heavy fuel oil. Since
1998 the ir. D.F. Woudagemaal has been listed on the
UNESCO<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/UNESCO> World
Heritage Site list <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/World_Heritage_Sites>.

I added some out of the camera jpegs, just resized in PS, to judge my LR
treatment:

One of the steamengines in heavy backlight:

The oil glasses for the pumpshafts (I guess):

After - the picture in the original post - <

Some copper tools with a modern soundprotector:

After <http://wijsmuller.eu/picture.php?/999/category/48>

The pump chamber, the real light level is somewhere in between these
pictures I guess:
Before <http://wijsmuller.eu/picture.php?/1110/category/48>
After <http://wijsmuller.eu/picture.php?/1000/category/48>

Please be aware that my pictures are never out-of-the-camera jpegs. But it
has never been more fun to work on them as with this camera.

Best, *Frank.*
