Chuck, point taken, but even when my generator isn't (of necessity) running,
I can tell you it gives me a metaphorically warm feeling.

I have to admit to an error in my reply to John - I was expecting someone to
observe on the portability (or otherwise!) of my supposedly 1500kVA set... 
1500VA, 1.5kVA is closer to the mark!

Bet that's the most expensive 24 hours of power you've ever bought.  I was
about to say I hope you get a lot more use of it when I realized that was
not the right thing to say.  :-)
