Maybe - but I need a better English to tell such a long and entangled
story. Chuck would have to correct my writting all too often.
Were you to buy one, I'm sure you will find it easy, as they
themselves (the Bryston fans) say - because you live in
the People's Republic of Iowa City ;-)
The new amp (4B SST 'squared') is far better than the one I still
have, but couldnt repair under warranty (it is under warranty, mind
you) - and only a LED driver had gone bad.
The Chilean authorized dealer behaved very wrong - Bryston doesn't
consider him to be their authorized dealer no longer maybe because I
let them know how things developed, avoiding a complaint and without
making a fuss - but I don't have the rquired bill of sale for the new
unit, requirement for the 20 year warranty.
The new amp is great, I don't repent. But as things came out, my plans
to invest in a Bryston front-end had to be interrupted.
This shouldn't happen in Iowa or NY or WA - not even in Sao Paulo or
Santiago de Chile itself !
