Thanks to everyone who commented! The attaboys feel good, and the comments on 
means of showing are useful.

Thanks for the feedback. The EXIF data is there, just not displayed without 
using an EXIF viewer.

Thanks. I stop for hawks on fence posts quite a bit. I suppose I was destined 
to eventually stop for one lazy or devil 
may care enough not to fly right off before I can take careful shots. :-)

Nor have I. It seemed very odd. I even did some research to see what it might 
be. But size, markings, and little things 
like the red tail ;-)   , convinced me that it was indeed what I at first 
thought, a Red Tailed Hawk. Just an odd one.

Y'all come out one winter, and we'll show you. Just time it between storms. ;-)
Then again, in the spring, the green hills are complemented by wildflowers.
