I don't have any uploaded pictures from my XA but I do have one from my 
Stylus Epic, taken using a tripod. I took this one to also show the effect of 
having only 'one' aperture available - f/2.8 - with the Epic.

I remember that I found it a little tricky to hold this light camera (and the 
XA) 
still enough to get sharp shots, so that if you 'can' use a tripod sometimes 
you might find it advantageous in respect of sharpness.  

But - my arms are somewhat light, so, YMMV.
