I think I would now amend that to say the the maximum height should be
600 pixels. If you have a standard HD screen with 1080 pixel height a
limit of 600 pixels on image height will assure (at least with the
Firefox browser) that the entire image will display without having to
scroll down. Slideshow appears to diddle the image size with no
resharpening. I'd like to see slideshow disabled unless it can be
controlled to show only the original image size... unless there is some
way to have two owner controlled display images with different sizes for
normal and slideshow display. I don't have the time right now but I
intend to resize all my images to a max height of 600 pixels.
