Hum. That's why my grandfather admonished me always to do a cross-section for
the lab. <g>
But still, there is granite and there is granite. You've been to Pemaquid. Now
that's granite. (Along with a nice basalt dike.) Or Acadia, which is "pink"
granite, particularly pleasing to the eye.
