yes, it's a sort of small drive that can get stucked too...
and yes G-lenses have a direct diafragm ring...

and yes, it's the planar is one of the best lens ever ... does anyone knows 
if the 50 planar for leica works as good ?

So do the Contax G lenses have a mechanical drive from the camera body, e.g.
like the older Nikkors with a "screwdriver" drive ?
