Just a side note on this. The most I've uploaded for a single event
was just over 3000 images. I segmented the galleries so all 3000
images didn't land in just one directory. It took me about five
minutes to get the galleries named, items parceled and upload started.
It took about 10 hours to upload the entire mess, I think.
