always remember that transparency is the substance doors are made when you 
hit them with your nose...

and that anything out of light has no colour at all

Not me mate. I regard it as an intangible which we treat as if absolute. 
Even avoiding the subjective problems of colour perception, I tend to 
challenge students to tell me where colour actually exists. Mental CGI.
