Socks are knit on tiny circular needles - Plastic points less than an inch
long with plastic cord 9" long between the points. For awhile, airlines
prohibited all knitting needles. Now they allow all but the biggest ones.
You can't bring big scissors but you can bring tiny, plastic ones.
