I guess my problem is with the subject line of this thread. There is a 
disjunction between your arguments (whatever their merit) and the 
subject statement, "Why the recent northeast blizzard was not, due to 
global warming". I have taken the liberty to edit to more accurately 
reflect your hypothesis.
