Yes, the Escalade has a GMC truck frame. Pretentious, no. The owner
doesn't have a pretentious bone in his body. He likely thinks of it as
practical since the Escalade is such a multi-purpose vehicle. Here you
see the Escalade being packed up after a two week trip to the Cape.
Jammed full of everything including 3 kayaks, lobster boiling pot, etc.
