It's very useful to see if you are somehow not getting the performance that you
should, Jez.
But I've been obsessive about fuel consumption since I had a Golf GTi with the
OBS -- a computed consumption which didn't match any fill-up in the UK but
which was magically on target when driving in France. I started checking then,
and I've had a spreadsheet record since 2001.
