Having been to Honduras, I can tell you that this suggestion implies a level 
of sophistication that doesn't exist there. I saw no evidence of any 
commercial foresting there, only ancient forests, where plantains, coffee, 
trees, monkeys and snakes grow in harmony. It is indeed a third world 
country.

And the timber he is carrying is GREEN at that - ie, undried. Heavy stuff..
So much I could say. e.g.
Have they EVER thought of growing plantations of suitable species of timber
tree right alongside their villages?

Great shot. My admiration to him for his huge effort.
