Tyre insurance is not such a bad idea. I had 4 new tyre fitted at a
cost of £ 450. Tyre insurance with the fitting company cost me £30. A few weeks
after fitting 80 tyres had been slashed overnight in our area, all with
irreparable sidewall damage. Guess what... one of my tyres was on that list. As
I was covered for acts of vandalism tyre was duly replaced. The police seemed
to think that the damage was caused by scroats working for a local garage /
tyre fitting firm to drum up business but could not get proof of this. :-(>

Yeah, the usual routine seems to be window tinting, extended warranty, even
had tyre puncture insurance offered !
