The cheap solution to the E-M5 raw file problem is to buy PS Elements or
Lightroom. Both have Adobe Camera Raw. I looked on Adobe's web site
this morning to verify that CS6 is no longer for sale but noticed that
PS Elements is. I didn't spot Lightroom but wasn't looking.

Perhaps they intend to keep PS Elements around. That gives you ACR and
layers although I don't know much about total function relative to PS or
the extent of 16 bit support. If you don't use layers there are many
other solutions around.
