1. I have watched as the front left wheel of my Range Rover bounced down the 
road ahead of me. I took it into the ditch nicely and only needed a new disc 
brake rotor. Scarey though. I thought the rumble was a bad wheel bearing but 
no; loose nuts
2. Bored by that? I once worked for an electronics company that did the 
computer that adjusted the geometry of the air intake nacelle on the Concorde 
as it went through Mach one. (Etched sputtered tantalum IC chips in that one). 
And had to sign the Official Secrets Act 'cos I knew far too much about 
Sonobuoy construction. I love those kinds of clever engineering solutions and 
once had to write about them for a living. Those rollerons are really cute.
