I thought about saving conversions as pre-sets, but my conversions almost 
always include several specific adjustments to specific areas of an image. A 
pre-set just wouldn't work. Another example is film emulation. If I decide to 
use it at all, I make the trip down the entire list. What works for one image 
won't work for another. Lots of time I don't like any of them and wind up not 
using them, or, if I do, I modify them so much they no longer are recognizable. 

If I were going gasbag on this one, I'd say that I prefer to approach each 
image with a fresh eye, independent of anything I've done before. <g>
