I'm currently running a desktop with Win7pro and Lightroom on a Core2Duo
E6550 at 2.3GHz. It's ok for my needs.
Agree about the screen - if I go for a laptop as a replacement I'm
intending to use a Dell U2312HM 23" IPS as 2nd monitor.
