I do found lots of 4GB DDR2 on their site, due to low (no) production of 
DDR2 the prices are extremely high though.

It doesn't matter as it was not wise to upgrade DDR2 even at last year. Your
new system is much faster and rather expandable, you may go eight cores at
low cost, just make sure to add a better heatsink for the CPU, AMDs run very
hot under load.
