It actually went better than I thought. But it does come down to
timing. They got themselves new shoes and purses, so my lens purchase
was still quite a bit less.
And that new 6D has been "approved" for purchase once the new
apartment is equipped with some basic furniture and the third vehicle
purchased.
Alternatively, the XPro1 is way up on the list. Highly desirable, but
there is that problem with the "1" in the name.
