I was also a user of Syncback but for the free version, it was not able to 
handle unicode file name, a big trouble for me but still I have been using 
it for some years. Last year I found FreeFileSync, it has much better 
interface and do almost the same thing that Syncback does but for free. The 
old Syncback just look DOS like and FreeFileSync is much better especially 
in review of the files to be changed. It also copy locked files and can 
exclude folders, file names like *.db ...etc.
