Mine is far closer to linear than fisheye, and rather easily corrected, when
it's important. PTLens has a good profile
for it.

Oh yes, indeed. I am sorry if I came across as negative. I think it's an
excellent lens. But not so good for close-ups
of flat things, which would be misuse, really. ;-)
