I agree. As it was it was quite an after-thought as I was zonked out and just 
wanted to catch some sleep.  And now the snow has all but gone after some 
rain and some warm wind ( like foehn or Chinook)
But winter is not over yet. We usually have a bad storm some time in Aug - 
Sept.

I wasn't aware of that feature. Maybe I'll drag the printed manual out.
I had no idea that the E-3 was prone to banding at high ISO. I had opined 
that it was due to Neat Image.

I haven't used curves because I just don't understand them. I can usually 
tweak images to the degree I want with the next-to-bottom tools of the LHS 
of FastStone.
