The 24-70mm f2.8 for the Sony alpha system is quite simply the best standard 
zoom I have ever used (on an a850 at the time). One reviewer I read found a 
flaw - the back ring is a bit close to the camera prism and you have to 
position your fingers carefully. That's it, the only possible negative comment. 
Of course it's rather expensive but....
I have the Contax G 45mm Planar and 90mm Sonnar on adapters for mFT. Time they 
got some exercise. 
Finding a good adapter is hard and you don't want to be changing it too often 
but it's worth the cost.
