Well, there are three ways of looking at it:
1. National Geographic photographer shooting ONLY 1000 photos?
Shameful. She should be drummed right out of the community.
2. Leica photographer. They can get the job done in 36 shots or less
(it was too difficult to change film, so just make sure you get the
job done with as few shots as possible). 1000 photos? Shameful. She
should be drummed right out of the community.*
3. Proud mamma with camera. 1000 photos? Yeah, about right. No
drumming required.
* I know she knows how to change film in those Leicas. One of the JOBO
tanks has grooves worn in it.
