It's an RGB scan of a monochrome original, Chuck. Hence I can well imagine
that changing the white balance would introduce a colour cast.

And an interesting, touching image, Tina. I am reminded of Dr Ted Grant's
medical documentary work.

Eh?  How is it that a white balance tool changes RGB to sepia???  I don't
understand that one at all.

I don't mind the sepia on this image but don't know if straight B&W might
look better.  As it is it needs a bit more contrast.
