Those here who are wild about the 3Ti have always been in a minority, long
before digital. I certainly over collected OM
bodies and lenses back then, but not that one.

I've seen and handled one, and think it's the prettiest of the late OMs, with
that gorgeous finish. OTOH, it has always
been expensive and everything it does may be easily done with an OM-4(T(i)),
plus things it can't.

Unlike the other later OM bodies, it has no provision for dealing with aperture
stop down shock/vibration. Not much of a
problem hand held, where the human 'wetware' damps vibration, but a real issue
on a tripod with any OM, especially with
short to mid length teles. All the other later OMs have mirror/aperture
pre-fire with self timer, which eliminates the
problem.

Its shutter speed tricks for flash may be easily duplicated on the OM-4 series
with a piece of tape on one flash shoe
contact.

I may have forgotten some wonderful aspect, beyond looks, cachet, etc., but
it's really a specialist/niche model to me.
