Mike, Joel, Moose, and others I don't precisely remember commented on my
magnolia
shot. Thanks guys; about the time I was to place an order for an actual plant,
I reviewed
photos taken about 2 years ago and thought this shot deserved some re-working.
The FastStone facility for intensifying shadows and similar dark tones worked a
treat and
very quickly, to remove distracting background detail. :-) I put in about 45
USM
sharpness - MUCH more than usual - and the detail seemed to keep coming in
without
damaging the overall effect as far I could see.
Mike, I do admire your whale shot of about a week ago. Great catch.
