Riiiight. You are just trying to placate me. :)

What is cycling around in my head is that the less location-specific
aspect of the monochrome is what makes it for me. I've never been to
Scotland, and I don't even one on TV. Therefore, the color version
means little to me. Both are just "pretty pictures" in that regard. I
have no emotional tie to the location. Because of that, the monochrome
version works better for me because it is what it is--a dramatic photo
that would look good on any wall pretty much anywhere in the world.
