That's my experience. I was hoping you would find a secret, but not expecting
it. One may disable the rear wheel on the
Pens, but the arrows still work, which is good/bad. I too would like to disable
the left arrow key.
OTOH like many such things that are apparently very annoying to impossible in
short use, I've found I have adapted to
the point that it seldom causes trouble.
