With the eventual demise of film, I'd suggest that it's really coming
down to the wire as far as film use is concerned. Granted, when Ilford
and Kodak do hang it up for good, there will be a pretty massive run
on the stuff as people will stock 10 lifetimes worth of film in the
freezer.

Yes, but look at it a different way. It's ONLY that much. You don't
use it on everything--that's what the digital junk is for. (I'm
sounding like Ken Rockwell. Sorry). There is nothing quite like a
large-format image.

Doing my best. Well, OK. Not quite my best. I'll scan a couple 4x5
sheets for you next week so you can "understand" a little better.

My classic old house on hillside photo (from one of the TOPE events
years ago) was done in both 35mm and 4x5. With the 4x5 there is detail
of every nail in the siding. With 35mm you can make out the siding.

BTW, I'll see about doing a recording this weekend if the girls are up to it.
