You missed the point. The first graph, which is very easily interpreted
as showing climate model failures (all of them) was what was in the
draft report only a few weeks ago. No climate model predicted the
warming hiatus of the past 15 years and actual temperatures have fallen
outside the 95% confidence interval for lowest predicted temperature
(the orange, green, red and blue bands). That the models have failed
badly is and has been known for a long time (since it's been developing
for years and the basic data is public). But there was a mad scramble
amongst the political side to obscure the data for the final report.
They certainly did. They got you too since you didn't bother to read
and understand it. They're a success at your expense. McIntyre's last
comment is: "None of this portion of the IPCC assessment is drawn from
peer-reviewed material. Nor is it consistent with the documents sent to
external reviewers." I'm afraid that is indefensible for a scientific
document that purports to use only peer-reviewed material.
Yes, everyone has an axe to grind, especially the IPCC which I think is
at risk here of being defunded.
