The problem with getting the Nikonscan software to work under W7 is
that you have to unload Vuescan first. It's a little convoluted.
What I do is use Vuescan on both of my computers, but keep Nikonscan
running on my old XP machine. There are some things it does better,
other things Vuescan does better. At the moment, I lost screen
calibration on my W7 machine, so I'm doing most of my stuff on my old
box, anyway.
But Vuescan is the way to go.
