It's a nice trick that allows you to run the tire pressures a whole
lot lower. Unless the tubless tire beads (proper spelling, not
tyre--that's so screwed up) are bolted or glued to the rim, when you
run very low pressures, the bead will separate or slip. The tube keeps
the bead pressed out against the rim. Generally something only done
for dedicated low-speed vehicles, though. Highway speeds can result in
blowouts from heat buildup.

Just say "no" to the "y".
