TodayI had 20 min in Rotterdam and went into a camera-shop near the central
station to have a look at their fine selection of cameras.
There was an OM-D E-M1 on display and I asked if I could handle it.
A battery was put in and I could fonle it for about ten minutes.
Way to short for a definitive impression, but here are some thoughts:
- The camera is small!
- It fits my small hands really well
- Controls are well placed
- The viewfinder is very good, however there was a light shimmer in EU
artificial light,
not too disturbing.
- AF with the 45mm 1.8 was almost instant
- It really feels like an OM, but the grip is a welcome addition
- I'm tempted by this camera
- The price point (1499 euro) is too high for me at the moment , however
the camera is worth it I think.
