I once peered closely a museum at a print of a very famous photographer's image
of a harbour. I discovered to my horror (!) that the seagull in the foreground
had been enhanced with a fine brush and some process white paint. Bill Brandt
was the 'culprit'. Photoshopping is nothing new.
