I've wondered about that myself. It's a branch, version, whatever the right
word is, of the Masons. The Scottish rites
seem to have originated in France.
This Temple has quite a nice auditorium up top, where I suppose they do their
secret Rites. At other times, it may be
rented for various public uses. Wonderful location on the lake.
