Indeed! I tried it both ways, but liked the shot with the near focus better. 
Plus there was the matter of exposure--the moon kept blowing out. Had to stop 
down and blast fill-flash to get the foreground visible.

I like the last (mirrored) version more than than the original (stacked focus) 
version more. Wonder why.
