Tina,
The basic problem is that the internet is supposedly anonymous; some
individuals consider this to be it's advantage. Until individual users
of the internet can be held to account for their actions, as users of
other media are, this sort of intellectual property theft will continue
to occur (by individuals or corporations). Some of these same people
will say that ownership of any intellectual property IS theft in itself.
Hmmmm... too much thinking in too short a time...: more beer required!
