Yes, I don't know who the marketing genius was that though the american 
consumer would by a camera without a zoom lens. I believe the bundled ones 
were left overs being off loaded to make room for the new version. Only 
thing that makes sense.

Lovely photos, Frank.  That lens works well.

However, it's also out of my budget range at the moment.  I'm going after
the Panny 14/2.5.  There are a number on the 'bay under $200, both used and
new.  Apparently, it got bundled into a lot of kits and people have no idea
what to do with them, so they're selling them off.  I don't care if it
doesn't come with a box.
